Information for nurses from abroad seeking employment in Germany

Here are some documents you can prepare, in collaboration with our recruitment team:

  • Qualifications and training:
    e.g. diploma, references on work experience, certificates, etc.
  • Work permit and visa:
    Different regulations apply depending on your country of origin. Please address visa matters directly in your home country.
  • Language skills:
    German is the predominant language in the healthcare sector in Germany - you should have at least sufficient German language skills to communicate with colleagues and patients.
  • Recognition of qualifications:
    We will work with you to verify whether your qualifications are recognised in your desired federal state in Germany.
  • Application documents:
    Feel free to use our resume check to see if the important relevant information about your work experience, advanced training, etc. is included.
  • Health certificate:
    We inform you which documents your future employer requires.
